Certificate IV in Business Administration
This qualification is offered to local students only.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed administrative skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of administrative contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.
This program is focussed on developing skills and knowledge essential for a supervisory administrative role including complex document creation, customer services, team and leadership.
To attain Certificate IV in Business Administration, you will need to complete;

- Successful completion of year 12 or equivalent is the minimum qualification requirement for entry into this course.
- At least 18 years of age at the commencement of the course
Non-VCE applicants may be required to demonstrate LLN requirements relevant to the course.

Pathways into the qualification
Candidates may enter the qualification through a number of entry points including:
- BSB30415 Certificate III in Business Administration or other relevant qualification/s
- Vocational experience in providing administrative or operational support to individuals and/or teams but without a formal business administration qualification
Pathways from the qualification
After achieving this qualification candidates may undertake:
- BSB50415 Diploma of Business Administration
- BSB50215 Diploma of Business

A pre-training interview may be required with the candidate to determine the current competency and/or vocational experience, LLN needs as well as candidate’s expectations from this course.
