This Scholarship is available for all ALTEC Students who are currently enrolled for year 2011. In order to maximise participation and provide more opportunities, we are offering 50 scholarships for 50 best performing students of any faculty.
Value & Benefits
Successful Students will receive $500 which they could spend towards developing their skills in their area of specialisation or buying any equipment or resources required for studies.
Number of Scholarships Available
50 scholarships – 15 per term x 4 terms within one Academic year
Eligibility Criteria
- enrolled in ALTEC as a student in any faculty
- be an International Student with valid student visa
- valid and current COE
- no outstanding fees
- 90% attendance
- Achieved 'Competent' in all units completed so far
Application Process
- Application for Scholarship to be made available at the Reception
- Students who are interested must express their interest by submitting a completed
- Completed Application Form can be submitted to the Reception or the Admin Office
- Availability of the Scholarship to be advertised to the Students by way of Posters, ALTEC Website and Admin Staff
- Application submissions will be closed on end of each term
Selection Process
- Selection shall be made by an appointed Scholarship Committee consisting
- All applicants will be selected strictly under the given criteria
- The offers will be notified via letter to relevant students
- The offer has to accepted in writing by the student and then would be considered as a Winner
- Winners will be notified on the College Notice Board
